John is chairman of the Canterbury Structural Group and is the Canterbury representative for SESOC (Society of Structural Engineers).
John specialises in large scale Industrial and Commercial projects and complex residential projects.
John is well respected in Canterbury as an expert in damage assessment and repair solutions for residential buildings following earthquakes, and provided assistance to MBIE through the development of the residential repair and rebuild guidelines.
