Ashley is a current board member of College House and was elected a Fellow of Engineering in 2026. He has over 26 years of experience as a Consulting Structural Engineer, delivering large scale building projects across New Zealand. He is widely recognised for his expertise in design and build projects and educational buildings where he has been involved in delivering over $400m of school projects.
His other areas of specialist expertise include accommodation projects such as Sofitel Queenstown, Novotel Christchurch and Break Free on Cashel Hotel, large industrial warehouse and office buildings, and aged care facilities.
